Dancers should arrive polished and class-ready in required attire. Hair should be neatly secured,

and jewelry removed for safety. Dance Attire: All-black dancewear—leotard with jazz pants,

skirt, or tights. All dancers must wear proper ballet or jazz shoes.

◆ATTENDANCE

Consistency is part of the Jewel standard. Dancers are expected to arrive on time, prepared, and

ready to train.

◆PLACEMENT & PROGRESSION

Class placement reflects age, technique, readiness, and experience. Advancement is thoughtfully

determined by Jewel instructors as each dancer grows.

◆PERFORMANCE TEAMS

Jewel Luxe and Performance Company placement is by audition or evaluation. Technique,

commitment, artistry, and coachability are considered.

◆STUDIO ETIQUETTE

We lead with grace, discipline, and respect. Dancers and families are expected to help maintain a

positive and supportive environment.

◆MAKE-UP CLASSES

Missed classes are not eligible for make-ups. Classes affected by facility closures, weather, or

unforeseen circumstances are not guaranteed to be rescheduled.

◆REFUNDS

Program fees are non-refundable once the session begins. Requests made before the start

date are subject to applicable City policies and administrative fees.

◆ Practices are closed to parents and guests, allowing dancers to stay focused and build

independence.

◆ Kindness and respect are expected toward instructors and fellow dancers.

◆ Dancer’s name must appear on the official roster to participate
